·        Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is celebrating its 25^th anniversary as North America ’s longest running and most popular dinner attraction.

·        The inspiration for the concept began with one of the original Chairmen of the Board who’s family’s bloodline is the inspiration for the Medieval Times royal theme.

·        The dinner attraction began with two dinner/entertainment complexes located in Majorca and Benidorm , Spain .

·        Since opening the first North American castle in 1983 in Kissimmee , Fla. , the company has expanded to nine Castles, including Kissimmee , FL , Buena Park , Calif. , Schaumburg , Ill. , Hanover , Md. , Lyndhurst , N.J. , Myrtle Beach , S.C. , Dallas , Texas , Atlanta , Ga. , and Toronto , Ont. , Canada .

STEP BACK IN TIME (No time machine required)

• The experience begins as you enter inside an 11^th century, European-style castle, which is filled with an amazing display of medieval artifacts, coats of arms of many prestigious families and a spectacular array of medieval weaponry.
• Our royal cast of the realm will be available before the show for photo opportunities, or to chat a bit about how it is to live in the medieval era.
• Upon arrival, you will be provided with a colored seating card. The arena is designated by six color “zones” of seating (red, blue, yellow, black & white, red & yellow and green) representing six authentic regions of Medieval Spain.

SHOW STOPPER

·        Medieval Times launched a brand new electrifying show this year, which is a live two hour production. In the new production, a brave Prince is captured via sneak attack, adding an element of drama and suspense.  

·        The arena quickly fills with the thunder of hooves as the Lord Chancellor leads the cast through a spectacular display of equestrian skills and medieval pageantry. Through a flashback scene the Prince’s young bride, Princess Leonore recalls her last moments shared with King Phillipe’s heir to the throne.

·        The pace quickens when the Tournament of Games begins. The valiant Knights on horseback face their competition in games of skill, such as the ring pierce, flag toss and javelin throw.

·        As word of the missing Prince finally reaches the King, an evil villain is revealed to the crowd. As a battle ensues to maintain good over evil, guests cheer their own Knight to victory in authentic jousting matches and dangerous sword fights.

·        You will enjoy being greeted by King Phillipe and Princess Leonore , who invite them to share in a regal banquet and cheer for their own Knight of the Realm

·        In the arena, Serfs and Wenches attend to every need of the guests who feast on a four-course dinner, served without silverware!

·        The medieval banquet includes, garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, spare rib, herb-basted potato, pastry of the Castle, coffee and two rounds of select beverages.

THE KNIGHT CONTINUES

5. COZY COTTAGES - Our venue features the only permanent medieval village existing in the United States – The Medieval Life Village.
