When you parasail from our state of the art Parasail vessel you can take off and land gently from the back of the boat, what we call the “flight deck”.

We accommodate everyone from first-timer to daredevil, young and old. Pair up with a buddy and fly together. Take a refreshing dip into the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

If you wish to stay dry, the choice is yours. Cruise the skies in serene bliss then dare to take a free-fall which simulates a parachute drop – it’s all up to you!

Do you take off from land or in the water?

You take off and land directly on the boat! After we fit you with a special parasail harness, you are seated next to your partner(s) on the flight deck and then gently launched and retrieved using a hydraulic winch system.

Do I need to have any experience to parasail?

Absolutely not! If you can sit, you can fly!

Are there any age or weight restrictions?

Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver. Minimum combined weight is 90 lbs. and maximum combined weight about 450 lbs. Weight requirements change daily due to wind conditions and are subject to captain’s approval.

Can two or three people go at the same time?

Yes! Some restrictions apply depending on weight and weight conditions; ultimately it’s the captain’s decision.

Do I ever touch the water?

It’s up to you! Just let the captain know if you want to stay dry or get your feet wet.

Is parasailing scary?

Actually it’s quite the opposite. Parasailing is very serene and peaceful. Takeoffs and landings are very slow and gentle making you feel as if you are truly “floating on air”.

Where do we go parasailing?

After arriving at the beach, you will be taken by a Zodiac to the parasail boat. Your captain will head South into the Gulf of Mexico.

What can I expect to see parasailing?

In addition to awesome panoramic views of the Panama City Beach beaches and Emerald Coast, on occasion you will see dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays, fishermen, tour boats, sunburned tourists, and lots of colorful beach umbrellas!

Can we fly higher than your 800 foot ride?

NO! The FAA limits parasails to fly no higher than 500 vertical feet from the surface of the earth (CFR 101.13). 500 feet up is about how high you will get on an 800-foot tow line. Any claims from our competitors stating they can fly higher are not true.

What should I wear?

Bathing suits if you want to get wet; otherwise shorts, tees, and flip-flops. Honesty we can fly you in a dress or tuxedo – remember, you don’t have to get wet!

Can I go along just to watch?

Yes! When you call to make a reservation for parasailing please let us know the number of people who want to go along to watch. Observers can ride for $20 each IF WE HAVE SPACE AVAILABLE.

How long are the rides and how much does it cost?

The entire boating adventures takes a little over an hour. Each parasail boat holds up to 6 passengers who take turns flying two or three at a time.

Is your company specially trained, experienced, and/or licensed?

Yes! Our captains are US Coast Guard licensed Masters, and both captain and crew are specifically trained in all aspects of parasailing, boat handling, and flight procedures, with over 17 years of experience and over 100,000 flights. We are also current members of PAPO (Professional Association of Parasail Operators) which require our operation to adhere to strict operating guidelines to protect the safety of our customers.
