Virtual Line Reservation at Universal Orlando
So it occurred to us after talking with some clients that not everyone knows about Universal Orlando‘s Virtual Line system and or how it works. So we put together this little guide to share some of that info and tips on how to obtain a Virtual Line reservation.
So first let’s start with the popular rides that have the Virtual Line.
Rides with Virtual Queues:
- Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure (it use to be Virtual Line Only)
- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey virtual line
- Fast & Furious Supercharged virtual line
- Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon virtual line
- Revenge of the Mummy virtual line
- Skull Island: Reign of Kong virtual line
Getting a Virtual Line reservation at Universal Studios Orlando is relatively easy. Just follow these simple steps.
First things first in order to get a Virtual Line reservation you will need to have a mobile device and be able to download the Universal Orlando mobile app. Once the app is downloaded you will got to the left had menu and select “Virtual Line.” Next tap on the tab in the upper right hand side where it say’s Virtual Line Venues. There you will see a list of all the available attractions for that day. From there select which attraction you want and then tap Virtual Line Pass. You will then select how many people are in your party, select your return time, and then tap “Reserve Virtual Line Pass.” That’s it then you are free to go explore, eat, relax until it’s time for you to ride.
Once it’s your time to ride return to the attraction during your window. Make sure to have your QR code accessible and ready to be scanned.
Tips and Things to know
The app uses geotagging. So you will have to at least be in CityWalk to start making your Virtual Line reservations.
Lock in a Virtual Line reservation for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure located inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, as early and as soon as possible! This ride is New and is very popular and will become your new favorite ride. Reservation spots are limited and will go very quickly.
Each guest can reserve 2-rides at a time.
Your entire party that you made a reservation for must be present when getting on the ride.
